From Jazz to Salsa to Hip Hop, Latinos have played a key role in shaping and developing the musical sounds of New York City.
Join us on Tuesday, Feb. 2nd from 6-9pm at the Museum of the City of New York for a special presentations by and a discussion of Latino contributions to Hip Hop culture with three Hip Hop legends:
Joe Conzo: Hip Hop’s First Photographer (Born in the Bronx)
DJ Disco Wiz: First Latino DJ in Hip Hop (It’s Just Begun)
Jorge Fabel Pabon: Legendary Hip Hop Choreographer, Dancer & Historian
Moderator Carlito Rodriguez: former editor-in-chief of The Source
